Synopsis
Four Thousand Years Ago: A handsome Egyptian warrior prince (Amonophis) discovers the key to immortality (the Key of Life), hidden within the Great Pyramids and Sphinx. The very day Amonophis learns the secret of immortality, he's betrayed by the woman he loves (Nefertetee), who plots with others to kill the Pharaoh and seize the throne. They fail, and Amonophis, Nefertetee, and others, are tortured, burned, their limbs cut from their bodies, and their remains tossed into the Nile. Our Hero thinks he's dead--but over the next 30 days as he lays in the mud of the Nile, all his body parts regenerate (the myth of Osiris). Amonophis is resurrected because, in the hours before he was arrested/tortured/killed, he obtained immortal life from the Key of Life. But there's a catch. Every 30 days he must plunge the Key of Life into the heart of another. He must take life, to maintain immortal life. He must kill to maintain his immortality.
Fast forward 4,000 years. Our Hero lives in Silicon Valley, is fabulously wealthy, has numerous identities and estates all over the world, and owns/runs hundreds of successful companies with the help of "Horus" his All-Seeing-Eye Master Computer. "Horus" keeps an eye on all the computers of the world, monitoring governments, corporate competitors, and potential victims: beautiful women.
Immortality, for Amonophis, has become tedious and boring. What's the cure for boredom? Sex and Violence. Terror and Brutality. Amonophis is a warrior who's addicted to sex and slaughter. He brutally rapes, he savagely kills, he murders corporate competitors, and with the help of "Horus" he organizes and participates in orgies, massacres, and atrocities. Like other immortal "gods" he lives beyond good and evil, and only extreme sex and violence is the antidote to eternal ennui.
Amonophis knows reincarnation is real. He's encountered people he knew from centuries before, but reincarnated and reborn in the bodies of others--none of whom realize they had lived past lives.
After 4,000 years yet another hand reaches up from the grave. It s the reincarnated soul of Nefertetee, the only woman Amonophis has ever loved, and who he still loves though he believes (but is not convinced) she betrayed him. "Horus" informs Amonophis that a beautiful female reporter, "Sugar Joy," has been investigating his past, and is planning a story on him for Wired World Magazine. Upon meeting her, our hero realizes the soul of Nefertetee has been reborn in the body of Sugar Joy. Amonophis intends to kill her, but then, falls in love... but this love may lead to his downfall.
